A good stay!

generous portions woodland access recent redecoration refurbished bathroom
The breakfast included many choices. I really enjoyed the woodland near the hotel. It's perfect for dog walks. The dinner portions were generous and reasonably priced! I liked that my room had been recently redecorated. The bathroom was refurbished.
Storage in the room was lacking. Some of the furniture felt quite outdated.

just okay, i guess

tired decor small shower
The room was pretty tired i must say. the decor was like it hadn't been updated since the early 90s. plus, the shower was oddly small. I was like i was trying to wash in an airplane lavatory.

a true JEWEL!

tidy room comfortable room
Everyone in my group thought it was wonderful. The rooms were neat, tidy and VERY comfortable. We enjoyed drinks at the bar. They were spot on. We all had the steak pie for dinner, and it was fabulous. Breakfast was also fantastic and a bargain for the price.

first class breakfast dog walks great location
the breakfast was first class with everything i could possibly want. i really like the location of the hotel with some great walks for our dog. i will definitely stay here again. but the view was amazing!
the rooms and corridors were dated and a bit shabby in places.

The room was a good size and included an extra bed. The bar and restaurant were conveniently attached. I also liked the free parking located directly outside. The hotel is well located in a nice village.

A wonderful experience

friendly staff varied breakfast superb meals comfy beds
The staff were friendly and warm. The breakfast selection was varied, ALL wonderfully cooked. My evening meals tasted superb!!! The family room i stayed in was clean and the beds very comfy.
The room was quite cosy, so there was not much space to walk around.
