Central Stay with Good Food

central location generous portions accommodating staff
I found the location central and appreciated the cleanliness. The price was good for what I got. The food was very tasty and portions were generous. Staff accommodated early breakfast requests and helped with laundry.
The single beds in the room were very slim for my liking.
Facilities
8/10
The hotel has a family-friendly atmosphere and loads of character so it's a beautiful Victorian building that originally served as a hunting lodge and many original features remain. The hotel offers early breakfasts and assistance with laundry needs so guests have access to convenient services. There is a pub below the hotel.
Rooms
9/10
My room was clean and comfy so I had a good night's sleep. The room offered good towels and bedlinen for occupant comfort. Rooms are off the main staircase so noise can be a factor.
Dining
10/10
The breakfast included cooked-to-order options and amazing service. The pub offers good food. Restaurant options are conveniently located across the street so guests have a variety of choices.
