friendly staff quiet room tasteful decoration
I found the staff friendly and helpful . The spacious twin room on the front was very quiet and tastefully decorated. Having a sofa in the room 203 was an added bonus (a perfect spot to unwind).

musty smell cold shower
the reception was refurbished and in a great location. the welcome was friendly, so that was ok.
Our allocated room had a musty smell and bad stains were visible on the carpet! peeling paint also marred the bathroom. It did not feel very clean. i complained and got moved, but then the new room had no hot water. i ended up with a cold shower.

the twin room was very clean and nice. ALL dining and bars were walkable. The parking lot behind the hotel was good to have.

Fantastic Murder Mystery Night
murder mystery spacious room comfortable bed
I booked the Murder Mystery night. The theme was Fawlty Towers. The price was £169 for 2 people and included a welcome drink upon check-in, a bedroom, breakfast, a welcome fizz for the mystery night, and a 3-course meal. I received room 67 on the ground floor. It was a lovely, refurbished room (very spacious and comfortable). The room also had nice chairs to admire the garden view and was near the ballroom.

The staff really makes the stay great. I was impressed with their friendliness and efficiency. The actors during the Murder Mystery night were funny. They kept the evening entertaining (the performance was great).

The room was well kept and clean. It provided a relaxing environment. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was equipped with all necessary amenities. I had a pleasant and undisturbed sleep throughout my stay.
