hotel museum steam room unhelpful receptionist poor service
The building had a interesting museum and a movie showed the hotel in detail. I purchased their special gin from the shop. This worked well as a gift. The pool area included a jacuzzi and steam room.
My request for Prosecco was not fulfilled, and I was still charged. The receptionist lacked help and just told me to send an email. This.

The hotel grounds were beautiful (especially the gardens!). I also found the breakfast selection quite extensive, with many options available.
The gym equipment looked a bit dated.

good walks spacious room blackout curtains
I stayed for two nights. the grounds are lovely with some good walks. the room was spacious and immaculate. Thank you, silvia in housekeeping. blackout curtains were good, essential when the sun is up early.
my room was close to the loading dock so there was noise early in the morning.
