thin walls lukewarm eggs
i must say, the soundproofing was clearly on vacation. i could hear my neighbors, every flush and cough, just lovely. and don't even get me started on the breakfast buffet, which seemed to be permanently stuck on 'lukewarm scrambled eggs' and 'slightly stale toast'. the lack of decent coffee options reminded me of a personal insult. i expected better for the price i payed.

beachside bliss!!!

beach proximity convenient bus delicious food
The hotel is so close to the beach, just a short walk away!!! i really liked this. the bus stop right outside made getting around super easy. the restaurant onsite had delicious food. I particularly loved the chef's specials.
The stair carpets showed wear. I think replacing them would greatly improve the overall feel.

Acceptable Stay Overall

helpful staff great first aid railway line letting room
The staff was friendly and helpful. They provided great first aid when my son hurt himself. The hotel is very close to the beach and the town. I liked this convenience.
The railway line is approximately 50 yards away. Trains run approximately every 30 minutes during the evening. I think it would have been better if I had known prior to my stay that it was a regular pub with letting rooms, not just a hotel.

mouldy curtain broken holder
The room showed signs of wear. The shower holder was broken. The bathroom cupboard had mould in it. The shower curtain was also mouldy? No one told us about the Bruce Springsteen tribute act on Saturday night. The noise went on until 3:30 am it was awful. The hotel is unmanned in the evening, so there was no one to complain to.
