superb breakfast great location easy trip dated room odd taste long-life milk
The included breakfast was superb. the location was great for exploring the area. i especially enjoyed the restaurant next door. It.
the room i stayed in felt dated. the milk portions for tea and coffee had an odd taste, it made the drinks taste strange. it would be good to have fresher milk instead of the long-life stuff.

the location was ideal for distillery tours. the staff was cute, and i found them helpful with local recommendations. i also liked having a whisky bar inside. the breakfast was good and very fulfilling.
the room lock used a physical key, which wasn't a major issue, but a modern lock might be more convenient.

fresh fruit full scottish physical key power outlet
The breakfast included a full Scottish option. I also enjoyed the porridge with fresh fruit. The adjacent restaurant provided an excellent dinner. I particularly enjoyed the Cullen Skink. (It was one of the best I had in Scotland!)
The room key was a physical key. I found this a minor inconvenience. The room could have benefited from more accessible power outlets. (It was a little tricky to plug in the kettle.)
