great power ample parking friendly staff small room closed window average food
The ensuite shower had great power. There was ample parking available to guests. I found the hotel warm and cute with really kind staff.
My room was quite small. The room got really hot and the closed bathroom window did not help. I found the food was okay, but not that special.

fantastic getaway!
helpful staff scottish breakfast
my van got stuck in mud nearby and the staff helped me out. i decided to stay there that night, and i got an amazing scottish breakfast the next morning! steve, ginna, and the rest of the super nice team, i am so grateful.
the room was a bit noisy because of the road and the nearby train line. i could hear traffic and trains until late in the evening.

the double room included a large bed. the decoration was lovely and well-appointed. the mattress and bed linen were of excellent quality, ensuring a restful night's sleep after a long day of travel.

the hotel is surrounded by beautiful natural scenery. my room overlooked a lovely forest. the hotel is a short distance from many local attractions, and there is ample parking available.

the hotel offers a great selection of single malt whiskies. the restaurant food was delicious, i enjoyed the scottish breakfast. there is a lounge with comfortable seats and sofas, great!!!

The room was well-equipped with modern USB plugs for phone charging (so convenient!). The dinner and breakfast were both excellent. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

the restaurant setting included fairy lights in windows it created a good atmosphere. The super king-size bed was very comfy i slept well.
the hotel doesn't stock decaffeinated coffee for those with medical conditions.

a balanced experience
friendly staff excellent knowledge old fashioned room worn bed sheet
the staff were super friendly and knew a lot about the local area. i loved how comfy the hotel was and the restaurant was always buzzing showing how good the food is.
our room was a bit small and felt quite old fashioned with different styles of furniture. also the bed sheet was worn and had a hole in it which wasn't ideal.
