helpful staff local restaurant larger room small pool swimming lesson
The staff were very helpful and gave great tips on local restaurants (i like to try new places!). Our room was larger than others, a bonus. Fans were available, which helped with the temperature.
The pool was small. Swimming lessons were happening, so there was little room for a proper swim. The room was quite hot despite the radiators being off.

Acceptable Stay with Noticeable Issues

dirty staircase excessive heat
The main staircase looked quite dirty. That REALLY wasn't inviting. Our room became excessively hot, uncomfortable. Paying MORE for breakfast felt unfair, especially after a cheaper, better hotel.

parking fee basic breakfast
The parking fee felt REALLY unnecessary. I also found the breakfast pretty basic, nothing special to speak of. I expected more variety or higher quality ingredients for the price I paid. It was okay, but definitely not a highlight of my stay.

an okay stay

helpful staff central location warm welcome run down hotel missing tiles swimming lessons
I found the staff very helpful. i especially liked the receptionist and the breakfast waitress. the location is great because it is close to the city center. It's only a short walk.
the hotel felt a bit run down. the pool area seemed old, as the tiles were missing. i think the pool was used for kids' swimming lessons at times, which i wasn't expecting.
