The room was clean , and the shower had decent pressure. The staff was helpful and friendly , a real plus. I had a value meal in the bar , it was good for the price.
The hotel parking lot got a bit crowded at times.

The location was acceptable. It was right on the main street.
The room smelled bad. the bathroom's odor was overwhelming, and for the price, the room felt basic. i found the value lacking, and the strong smell really impacted my stay. It overshadowed any positives.

Wonderful Base for Family Visits

great size new bathroom friendly staff
We are a family, so this hotel was a good base for visiting family. The bedroom was a great size, and the bathroom looked newly fitted, a nice surprise. Staff were friendly and cute, I thought.
The communications from the hotel were confusing. I received a demand for payment in the next two hours fearing a scam.

The staff were helpful . The room had tea and coffee making facilities, a nice addition. I also found free parking behind the hotel, a very convenient feature .
the LIGHT in the corridor did not switch on quickly enough. I noticed two steps and unfortunately had a fall. the breakfast was average, not with a great choice if you did not want a cooked breakfast.

Lovely Stay in Scotland

central location friendly staff
Central location was amazing, with parking behind the hotel. The staff was friendly. I saw a bar and real fire. I was grateful for the gluten-free lager on tap and an allergy-friendly menu. The team was helpful.
I did notice one dirty, torn towel in the bathroom, which I reported. The receptionist acknowledged it but seemed unconcerned. More attention to detail there would be appreciated.
