Acceptable Stay with Some Issues
missed cleaning paper cups
My stay had a few frustrating points. Housekeeping completely missed cleaning my room after the second night, even with the service sign displayed. The rubbish piled up, and I started running out of soap! the lack of a fridge and glasses in the room was irritating. I had to use paper cups for drinks. It's a 3-star hotel, not a campsite!

Mixed experience. Needs some updates
outdated bathroom squeaky floors
The bathroom felt outdated. I noticed cracks around the sink. there wasn't a proper storage area, it seemed worn and tired. also, the floors really squeaked with every step. this made it hard to relax fully.

the restaurant offered great food and very helpful staff made the experience even better
the room had no phone to call reception and heating was controlled by remote i had to travel to front desk to get them to put heating on that was not convenient as i did not know about it at check in

nice staff helpful staff really good food refurbished swimming pool beautiful swimming pool dated room noisy floor thin wood
the staff were very nice and helpful. the food was really good.. the swimming pool was recently refurbished and beautiful. the bar area with open fire was very cosy and had a huge selection of drinks including local whiskey.
the rooms were dated and very noisy. the floors squeaked with every step, i noticed. the pillows were cheap micro fibre things. the room doors were from the 70's, thin wood let every noise through, i felt.
