filling breakfast friendly staff local attractions street noise restaurant smell outdated decor
the provided breakfast was quite filling. the staff members were very friendly. i was grateful for their assistance with directions to local attractions.
the street outside was busy and noisy throughout the night. smells from the restaurant below did permeate the entire building. the decor seemed a bit outdated and worn, though the room was clean.

thick towels good quality cooking smell busy road
the room had lovely thick towels! the breakfast was good quality and hot. i found the attention to detail excellent. the portion sizes were very generous!
the main road outside was busy all night. cooking smells from the restaurant did invade the whole building. i found this a bit bothersome. the place seemed a bit tired, too.

Really good Hospitality

spacious room clean room fantastic shower delicious food
I felt SO welcome. My room was spacious AND very clean. The bathroom had a fantastic shower. The breakfast was hot and delicious. The Italian restaurant downstairs offered AMAZING food and service.
The car park was a little tight. Entrance was quite dated.

I enjoyed a FULL scottish breakfast WITH proper coffee FROM the gaggia machine. The restaurant portions WERE generous AND of superb quality. I recommend the salumi misti.

Decent Accommodation with Good Food

helpful staff italian restaurant tasty food lack of curtains uncomfortable bed cold room
The staff was helpful. The Italian restaurant located on the premises was a plus. It made dining very convenient. The food was tasty.
My room had white blinds but no curtains. I woke up early because of the sunlight. The bed was not very comfortable. The heating was on but the room felt cold.
