I found the room very dated. the wallpaper was peeling. the bed was noisy. I couldn't move without it creaking. it definitely needs some updating.

the owner greeted us right at the door. he personally walked us to our rooms. the rooms were quiet. they were comfortable.
i had no hot water to shower. i had to boil water in the kettle and wash at the sink.

friendly staff main street reserved parking
The staff were indeed very friendly. i found the proximity to the main street quite convenient for accessing shops and restaurants. the reserved parking space was also a big plus. It gave me peace of mind.
the flashing green light from the smoke detector above the bed did disturb my sleep a little.
