lovely boutique hotel experience

friendly owners excellent customer service comfy bed
the owners were indeed friendly. april provided excellent customer service. the room was a good size with a comfy bed and a newly fitted bathroom. we used the downstairs cafe as a lounge one evening and ate our takeaway dinner there.
I asked for a quiet room but both rooms are located on the main road. there was traffic noise plus a broken metal plate outside the window. I heard metal banging whenever a car drove over it. blackout curtains would have helped.
Location
9/10
the hotel is on the main road. this provides easy access to shops and the local supermarket. (a co-op is directly opposite!) the beach is conveniently located right behind the hotel for easy access.
Dining
10/10
The breakfast was tasty with vegan and lactose-free options. the cafe offers lunch and afternoon tea. guests have access to the cafe even after normal business hours. That was very convenient.

fresh ingredients amazing breakfast beautiful decor rustic feeling traffic noise road proximity
the breakfast was amazing , with lots of fresh ingredients. the hotel's location is easy to find , and it's central. the decor is beautiful , so it was comfy.
the house felt a bit cold and rustic , which wasn't quite my style. it's right next to the main road , and i could hear the traffic. i found a non disclosure by the host about the road proximity.
