Blackbull Hotel is appreciated for its recently renovated, pristine rooms that are not only clean and modern but also surprisingly spacious, especially considering the great value for money; rooms feature comfy beds and excellent showers, with good lighting. Breakfast is often included, featuring fresh and delicious options. Though Tarbolton may seem like a transit location with little to do, the hotel is conveniently located for those traveling to Prestwick Airport, with just a 10-minute commute; some guests have noted that the rooms themselves are quite small.

locked door weak coffee
The rooms were clean and the food was really good. It met my basic expectations.
the outer door remained locked at 08:50. this made exiting with luggage difficult and i had to use the fire door. a staff member grumbled at me, and the coffee was weak, tasteless instant served in a teapot, despite a good coffee machine being nearby.

The hotel was easy to access and very clean. Staff members were friendly and helpful. the beds were very comfortable. The shower was first class with a big rain drop head.
I found only a hook on the back of the door where I could hang clothes. My room was a bit small, and the curtains did not close properly! A security light shone into the room.
