comfortable stay near the abbey
convenient location clean room tasty breakfast
i appreciated the location right next to the abbey it was very convenient. the room i had was very clean a detail i always notice. the breakfast included was quite tasty it definitely helped start the day right.
the tv in the room was quite small for the size of the room.

limited choice tiny tv
the location was great for walking the borders abbeys way. the bed was comfortable and i found the shower hot.
the hotel advertised a bar and food service, but neither was available. i found out i had to pre-order breakfast (which would have been fine), but the limited choice bothered me. when i asked for a fried egg, i was told they only do scrambled eggs (not the best, honestly). the room had a tiny tv, a bit ridiculous for the size of the room.

spacious room large bed quick breakfast
The room was spacious and provided enough comfort. I found a large bed there and two chairs. The breakfast was ready quickly at my requested time.
The hotel lacked an elevator. I needed assistance with my luggage.
