THE MISSION BUNKHOUSE, Mallaig

The Mission Bunkhouse sits opposite Mallaig railway station, a 1-minute walk from the Caledonian MacBrayne ferry terminal. The Co-op supermarket is next door, and shops, pubs and places to eat are outside the building. Trains run directly from Fort William to Mallaig in around 80 minutes, with views of Loch Eilt and Ben Nevis.

The Mission Bunkhouse has standard twin bedrooms and single rooms with sinks. Budget twin rooms with bunk beds, double rooms with shared bathroom, and basic triple rooms with shared bathroom are also available. Bedding is included in the room rate, and towels can be rented.

The shared kitchen has an oven, microwave, kettle and fridge, plus free tea and coffee. The shared TV lounge has a television and a DVD collection, and the roof terrace is open to guests. A bookstore downstairs sells 3 books for £1.

The property has parking and an electric vehicle charging station. Laundry services are available, and pets are accepted. The building is non-smoking throughout, has heating, smoke alarms and a shared lounge/TV area.

Mallaig has a supermarket, shops and places to eat right outside the building. Mallaig's restaurants serve freshly caught seafood, and a fish and chip shop is across the road. The building is close to the harbour and the Caledonian MacBrayne ferry terminal.
