Decent Stay with a Good Restaurant
excellent food attentive staff small room wooden shed
The hotel location is excellent, right by the loch. I found the restaurant food and service to be very good. I was grateful for the attentive staff.
My room was small, and there wasn't much space to walk around the bed. I also noted the mountain view was partially obscured by a wooden shed. It wasn't ideal.

loch view good breakfast warm room unresponsive staff absent reception unanswered calls
the location overlooking the loch was lovely and i found the breakfast to be very good. the dinner offered lots of choice, including local fish. our room was warm and i found it comfortable.
The staff seemed completely unresponsive! i tried calling several times but i didn't receive a response at reception. i also emailed several times. There were no replies. it made it hard to get help when needed, and that was frustrating.

A Balanced Stay
sitting rooms excellent food small room cracked shower
The restaurant had excellent food. The service was great. I also liked the cozy sitting rooms. They offered a space to relax. The hotel also provided an honor bar.
The room felt a bit small for the price. This was slightly disappointing. The shower room had some mould and the shower tray was cracked. This detracted from the experience
