attentive staff clean room comfortable bed
the staff was attentive and very kind i found. my room was very clean. the bed provided such comfort i slept soundly.

cute staff tea station tartan carpet
The staff were cute upon my arrival. Someone greeted me at the door. I found the tea making station quite convenient. The tartan carpet added a touch of scottish charm. The shower worked very well.
I noticed only marmalade as a choice of preserves. A wider selection would improve the breakfast experience.

The room was VERY clean and spacious. The bed offered comfortable rest during the heatwave. I slept well. The decor was especially appreciated.

Acceptable Stay, Some Issues
thin pillows high rate
The decor felt really dated. It SEEMED like a throwback to the 70s (maybe not in a good way). The pillows were too thin, and I didn't sleep well. I also noticed a blood stain under my pillow at check-out. It certainly wasn't mine. I think the room rate was a bit high considering these issues.

the location provided handy access to bus routes.
the room's decor seemed stuck in the past it looked like it hadn't been updated for decades the television was small and old i think some reinvestment in improving the hotel's appearance is needed given the room prices the pillows were also uncomfortably thin
