charming stay
sweet treats lovely staff
the room had generous, sweet treats! the staff was lovely. the hotel was in a perfect position near the city centre with a quick walk to princes street. the room itself was lovely and filled with everything i needed.
hot water varied suddenly from actually hot to scalding, as if some unseen imp were controlling it while i was washing. a tiny bottle of mineral water was provided. the room was also somewhat overcrowded with furniture. i had to move the chair to open the cupboard.

my room included a coffee machine and a kettle for tea preparation. bathrobes were available for use in the room.

the townhouse website provided useful information! it featured places to visit and things to see in the area, and gave helpful tips! there were small, sweet, and thoughtful extras in the room.

the location allowed easy walks to attractions and the station! nearby roads contained many cafes, restaurants, and little shops. the st james shopping centre was also very close. the playhouse was only a three-minute walk away!

The location is excellent. I found the area very quiet, still within walking distance of major attractions. Several coffee shops nearby provided convenient options for breakfast. I appreciated the tea and coffee making facilities available in the room.

a good stay
tasteful décor comfortable bed modern bathroom
the location worked out wonderfully for me (i walked to everything). the room was recently renovated and clean with tasteful décor. i found the bed comfortable with quality bedding. plus, the bathroom was modern with nice organic toiletries.
the absence of a lift made carrying my luggage to the upper floor a little challenging.
