Mortonhall Park has platinum holiday homes, Three-Bedroom Mobile Homes, shepherd's huts, static caravans, and fully serviced touring pitches. The holiday home lodges at Mortonhall Park are set behind a wooded area at the back of the site, and fully serviced touring pitches include electric hook-up and water points. All holiday homes, shepherd's huts, and caravans are non-smoking and have a private bathroom, central heating, smoke alarms, a television, and a fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator, oven, stovetop, and toaster.

Amenities

Mortonhall Park's new shower block has a campers kitchen, music piped through the toilets and showers, and light-up mirrors in the washrooms. A launderette with coin-operated washers is on site, and a wash costs £4.50; Mortonhall Park's shop at reception sells camping essentials. The games room has arcade machines, an air hockey table, and two pool tables; a barbecue area is also available.

Dining

The Stables bar and restaurant serves hot food and drinks in a stone cobbled courtyard and has an open fire. A dog menu and a children's lollipop reward for finishing dinner are available, and quizzes are held in the evenings. Mortonhall Garden Centre and farm shop at the bottom of the drive has a restaurant and serves a Scottish breakfast.

WONDERFUL stay!

helpful staff easy travel delicious food
I stayed for several nights. Staff members were helpful. The bus stop location outside the site made travel easy! I also visited the stables bar. Food here was delicious.
The gravel on the pitch felt a little UNKEPT.

Excellent stay!

easy trips on-site shop modern shower
I loved how close the bus stop was. It made trips into the city so easy. the on-site shop had everything i needed (especially snacks!). the shower facilities were really clean and modern, which i appreciated after a long day of sightseeing.

excellent stay near the city

helpful staff reasonable prices easy access
I found the staff helpful upon arrival. the onsite pub provided great food at reasonable prices. It created a lovely atmosphere after a day of exploring. the location allowed easy access to the city center by bus, a convenient way to see the sites. the excellent shared facilities included kettles and microwaves. I really appreciated this.
The shower cubicles lacked a shelf. It was inconvenient not having a place to put my belongings during showers. the floor would get quite wet! the hooks behind the door did not hold much.
