Charming Highland Escape

attentive staff delicious breakfast
The staff welcomed me warmly and were very attentive. The room provided bottled water (a thoughtful touch) and a selection of teas. The breakfast was delicious with freshly cooked elements. I loved having a cozy bar available on-site.
The room felt a little cold at times, even with the heating on. I think a more powerful radiator would make the space more comfortable. I also noted some spider webs in the corners of the room.

musty smell television glitch
the room i booked , the beautiful family room , was surprisingly musty. it had a distinct damp smell , not exactly refreshing , i must say. the television remote also seemed to have a mind of its own , channels changed spontaneously, and the volume fluctuated , as if possessed by mischievous spirits. i had to contend with that annoying glitch , and frankly , it wasn't amusing at all.
