Just Acceptable Stay

cold room heating system
The room was quite cold and I couldn't figure out how to work the heating system. Breakfast should really be included given the room cost. A member of our group accidentally locked their key inside. Staff had to look up how to open the door and replace the lock after.

helpful staff delicious slaw dark room shower pressure
The staff were helpful and friendly. The food exceeded my expectations. I had a gluten-free double burger with cheese and salad and an asian-style slaw (it was good!).
The room felt dark. The shower had poor pressure and i had to hold the shower head since the clip was broken. There was also no shower curtain.

a few issues during stay

cold room breakfast cost
The room was quite cold. I couldn't figure out how to adjust the heating. breakfast wasn't included. This felt a little cheap given the price. someone in our group accidentally locked their key inside. Staff struggled to open the door. they ultimately had to break in, a hassle and meant replacing the lock.

surprisingly charming stay!

safe parking warm welcome spacious room
i found ample safe parking for my motorcycle, a big plus. the staff gave a warm welcome! the room i had was thoughtfully designed and very spacious, also very clean, which mattered to me.
The music in the bar featured a very strong bass. It was quite distinctive.

The bar area features a pool table, darts, and a large tv. i saw that the breakfast options looked pretty delicious. a large mirror sat on the wall. It had a socket located right beside it.

The room i stayed in was unexpectedly large, including the bathroom. there was shampoo, conditioner, and bath gel supplied! tea making facilities and even biscuits were available in the room. A heated mirror made the room even better.

Excellent Stay with Great Service

helpful staff restaurant food accommodating service free parking
The staff helped with luggage both on arrival and departure, which I appreciated. The restaurant served good food in the evening. Breakfast did not have many gluten-free options, but the staff were accommodating. I also found free parking at the hotel, which influenced my decision to stay here.
The winding stair to the room was a tiny bit tricky, so guests with mobility issues should take caution.

The room was spacious and featured nice decor. The bathroom was big too. I enjoyed the convenience of having both a restaurant and a bar located in the same building. It was a plus.

large room helpful staff gluten-free options poor pressure broken clip early closure
the room was unexpectedly large and the bathroom was large ALSO. accommodations were clean. i was delighted with the gluten-free options explained by helpful staff.
shower pressure was really poor AND i had to hold the shower head AS the clip was broken. there was no shower curtain. bar closed at 10pm though website said everything was open until 11:30pm.
