the hotel made a good starting point for seeing the area. our standard double room was large. i found the staff friendly and helpful (they always smiled!).
i thought the food offering was only average. wifi was supposed to be available everywhere, but it struggled. it was better in the car park (of all places!).

I enjoyed the free parking and the spacious room. The grounds were also quite nice (I enjoyed a walk in the evening). I appreciated the ideal location for walking. It was easy to get into the town.
The hotel shows its age. The building has the potential to be better managed. I noticed carpet stains and marks on the walls, needing some TLC (especially the bathroom).
