The staff were friendly, cute, and helpful. I found the public areas beautiful and the room spacious. Breakfast had a good selection. I would definitely return to stay here again!

charming stay!
central location easy access reduced need simple access
The hotel location was fantastic. it was central for shopping and the nearby beach. the hotel provided loads of parking , made access simple. i could easily visit arbroath and other attractions nearby. the train station being close was useful. It reduced the need to drive everywhere.
the floor was like it was suspended in the annex. it had creaks at every movement. this wasn't a quaint old building characteristic. it was annoying!

the hotel features a really lovely scottish theme. it offered a clean and spacious room, which i appreciated greatly. the grand entrance of the building was beautiful!!!

dirty shower head musty towels
the staff was friendly and helpful (i guess that's their job anyway).
the bathroom felt quite outdated. the shower head looked a bit dirty, and there was mold around the bath. the towels had a musty smell, like they'd been sitting in a cupboard for ages.

positive attitude ample parking recommendable restaurant friendly staff
the staff had a positive attitude making guests feel special. lots of parking was available. the restaurant was recommendable for an evening meal. inclusive breakfast included friendly staff in the restaurant and bar.
the bathroom was large, but the bath and shower is very outdated.

The room was very clean and spacious, it had a lovely bed and a very well laid out bathroom. the tv was a good size, displaying clear picture quality. the hotel layout was very well thought out. However more accessible rooms should be available. the staff members were professional. I found the cleaning ladies to be amazing.
i found the outdoor decor somewhat tired, the building could use a touch of modernisation.

The receptionist was friendly and cute, they provided efficient check-in. all staff members i encountered were helpful. the older gentleman at breakfast was particularly attentive. I also found staff at the restaurant very sympathetic.

The room provided was very spacious and quiet. It allowed for restful nights. though the furnishings are a bit dated, they remain clean. the room also ensured privacy. I was able to relax without any disturbances.

The breakfast included poached eggs cooked to order. tasty black pudding. The hotel allowed me to keep my bike inside overnight. I appreciated that security.
