poor drainage stale smoke
the shower drained poorly it overflowed if i wasnt fast enough the shower itself was also small many things seemed precariously attached to the walls it was overpriced for the current condition of the rooms the cleanliness needed work and a strong smell of stale smoke permeated the stairwells

charming stay!

clean room continental breakfast free parking convenient location
the location is convenient. the room was clean, and the continental breakfast included cereal, fruit, juice, croissants and pain au chocolat. coffee and tea were also available (i always appreciate a good cuppa!). i also found the free parking in the car park quite useful.
the tv remote wasn't working perfectly, a minor inconvenience.

my Double room was clean. It included tea and coffee making facilities. the bed was comfy. Breakfast came to the room, a continental style. I liked this arrangement. I enjoyed the fresh fruit.

clean room good breakfast helpful staff good value
i found the room very clean. breakfast was a good continental style. staff were helpful , and the value for money was really good. i especially liked having breakfast in my room, this was very handy.
the bar was closed , but this didn't overly affect my experience.

charming stay

comfortable bed free parking
i found the bed very comfortable and the room was quite nice. the in-room continental breakfast was good, with a selection of fruit and pastries (i especially liked the croissants!). i appreciated the free parking in the car park, it made things much easier.
i did find the decor a little dated. i hope they improve it soon.
