mixed bag, i suppose
small room noisy location
the breakfast was alright, it impressed me with its presentation.
our room was small and its over the goods delivery bay, i heard smokers at night and drivers early mornings, it wasn't my expectation.

hit or miss, really
dim lighting unchanged towels
the breakfast food had both excellent choice and quality, i suppose.
The room i was in was a bit of a letdown, really. it was mostly dark blue paint, and the lighting was so dim i could barely read even with all the lights turned on. they also didn't bother to change my towels during my four-night stay. I expect clean towels at least every other day, you know?

Excellent stay!
excellent room quality attentive staff amazing food nice stay
I stayed overnight with friends and the hotel impressed me. Refurbishment has improved the decor, facilities, and rooms. Dinner and breakfast were amazing, and the staff was very attentive. The general manager were pretty good.
My stay was almost perfect, although I found the electric points to be in slightly inconvenient locations (but this is a minor point).

The restaurant features a menu with locally sourced ingredients. Breakfast included a variety of hot and cold options. I especially enjoyed the cooked-to-order eggs. Dinner portions are generous, and there's a good selection of wines.

Staff members are attentive and responsive. Requests were handled promptly. The reception desk is staffed 24/7, and they offer assistance with local travel arrangements. Turndown service is available upon request each evening.

a fairly designed hotel
friendly staffing older style good stopover soft pillows dirty bathroom ceiling mold
staff members were friendly. the building had a older style. i did see a piper at breakfast and this was good. a good stopover for me i think.
dinner was not good i think. pillows provided felt soft. my bathroom wasn't cleaned good and this upset me. mold grew on ceiling.

the beautiful king guest room included individual climate control. the bathroom had complimentary toiletries. there was a well-stocked tea and coffee station. the breakfast featured fresh, local produce.
the wifi signal was occasionally weak in certain areas of the room.

friendly welcome car parking clean room luke warm welcome small room tiny portions
the staff gave a lovely friendly welcome. there was plenty car parking space. the room was lovely and clean. toiletries in the bathroom were great too.
my welcome on arrival was luke warm. the room was quite small. there was only 1 biscuit in the room. dinner portions were very tiny.
