solid hotel experience
helpful staff secure space early breakfast
The staff was consistently helpful. i had a secure space for my bicycle and the night porter opened up early for my early start. I could have breakfast from 6:15 am. the hidden garden offered a nice space to relax. we loved it.
i found the decor in the bar and food area disappointing. the chairs were stained, and the springs felt broken. the curtains and carpet also showed stains. this area needs a complete revamp.

The staff offered quick help. They were very obliging. i traveled with a bicycle, and they provided a secure space. the night porter opened up early for my 6:30 am start, allowing me to have an early breakfast.

My room was a good size. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Breakfast offered sufficient options (I especially liked the scrambled eggs).
The hotel is slightly dated and could benefit from some updates to modernize its appearance.

The breakfast was good and had a lot of choice.
The room felt very worn. The mattress seemed like it needs replacing because it sagged. The pillows were also very flat and I didn't sleep too well.

The included breakfast was tasty and satisfying. I appreciated the blackout curtains in the room as they helped me sleep well. The staff were great to my needs.

The carvery offered plentiful and delicious food with a great choice of roast meats and vegetables. Fresh and very tasty desserts provided a super selection for those with a sweet tooth, too. The staff were friendly and efficient within the dining area.

The staff members were reliable and honest as they held our camera after we accidentally left it. They kept the camera safe for three days until we returned to retrieve it. This level of integrity was a welcome relief.

totally awesome stay!
cute staff great playlist breakfast team
the staff was so cute , especially laura at reception , she were really nice too ensure i was comfortable ! she even made a great playlist for drinks in the lounge , how cool is that ? the breakfast team was awesome too , so cheerful even super early.
the room door was kinda hard to deal with because it squeezed , and the heating wasn't working properly , so it was a bit chilly. i noticed some dust in the bathroom , especially on top of the door and the mirror light. that door to the lounge kept slamming shut and was super annoying.

my room had two twin beds and a spacious bathroom with fluffy towels. i found the room very clean and it included a modern tv. the crisp linens made bedtime something to look forward to.

the reception staff were efficient and helpful and they ensured all my needs were met quickly. laura provided great local knowledge when i asked about the surrounding area. every staff member seemed genuinely happy to help with my queries.

The staff provided friendly service, always polite. The receptionist was very helpful (i appreciated it) and accommodating. I was given a nice double room suitable for my needs.

friendly staff central location shower gels unclear tables disappointing decor noise issues
The staff WAS friendly and helpful. They made everything easy. The location was central, I could easily reach everything I wanted. My room had really great amenities. It had customary shower and hand gels.
The breakfast was underwhelming. Many tables needed clearing. The food area decor was quite disappointing. I saw some stains on the chairs. My room faced some noise issues. Sleep was difficult SOME nights.
