Spacious Rooms and Castle Grounds

spacious room two bathrooms beautiful grounds
I checked in at the castle (a very nice touch). They directed me to the room above the pub. The room was spacious with two bathrooms, definitely a plus for a longer stay. The grounds are beautiful, perfect for walks.
The check-in process had a few steps. Directions could have been clearer.

The inn double room provided a spacious area and included a comfortable bed. Good blinds were available (very important for sleeping). The room also had plenty of light thanks to the large windows.

There is a pub located in the same building as the rooms. The pub offers a convenient option for dinner, and it did not cause any noise issues . The menu has limited options.

The location is a short drive from the town center, about ten minutes away. This provides a quiet atmosphere away from the main tourist area. A car is needed to get around and explore the area.

Staff at check-out were friendly. Check-in happens at the castle. A welcome drink and biscuits were offered while they finished preparing the room.

adequate but flawed stay

confusing check-in process loose toilet seat
the check-in process was confusing. i had to retrieve the key from another location a considerable distance away. the room's temperature was uncomfortably cold upon arrival and the toilet seat was loose. these issues detracted from the experience i expected

Excellent stay near Inverlochy Castle

large room comfortable bed free parking
The room was large and the bed was comfortable (i slept like a log!). Tea and coffee making facilities were available. The grounds of the nearby castle were beautiful. I was able to leave my car there for the day without issue as free parking was available.
The instructions to find the room were vague. It was in a different building where we registered. It was a short drive away.

The room had two bathrooms which was fabulous and provided extra convenience. The rooms were spacious and well maintained. Nice towels were provided for use .

The restaurant offered one of THE best meals I had in Scotland. I ate there one evening and the food was very good. The staff were helpful and friendly.

The inn is situated on the premise of a beautiful manor (with gorgeous gardens!). It is located a short drive from the main area. I enjoyed the quiet area with easy car access to town.
