the location was off grid! the room had a quirky style plus a comfortable bed. the hotel's internal design was stylish. breakfast included tasty food. i found the staff to be pleasant. dinner was available as an offer. i had a relaxing time.
i thought that the lack of wifi was inconvenient! but, i survived.

cozy bedding luxury bathroom
the room included a very comfortable bed the shower was spacious i really loved the carefully selected antiques i thought they were a true gem. the breakfast was special and i enjoyed all the details i look forward to returning to this historical place.
the phone signal was weak throughout my stay i found this slightly inconvenient

Charming Lodge with Excellent Service

clean room design details
I found the refurbished room clean (it had a nice design). The common rooms were also great. Breakfast was superb (the best Scottish breakfast I have ever eaten!). The owners paid attention to small details, demonstrating their care for both the hotel and their guests.
I felt a little rushed at times. I was asked to make last bar orders relatively early.

The surroundings offer beautiful scenery. A nearby river provides opportunities for short walks. Hills and birdlife are also accessible from this location. Binoculars are provided to observe nature.
