great central stay

train station cosy room scottish breakfast
The hotel is near the train station. This made arrivals simple. the room was warm and cosy. breakfast was delicious and reminded me of scottish breakfasts i have enjoyed before!!!

The breakfast had an amazing quality! the staff were friendly, always there to help. i loved the gym. It had everything i needed for a good workout!!!

decent location, some issues

small room bathroom ventilation
the room i was assigned was smaller than expected. it felt a bit cramped. i also noticed that the bathroom lacked proper ventilation. this made it difficult to manage moisture after showering. we loved the pool. but the view was amazing!

noisy room staff indifference
the room i received was quite noisy due to its proximity to the lifts. it also lacked a mirror near a socket, made drying my hair rather difficult. the food at breakfast was not hot enough, and the staff seemed rather indifferent when i checked out after i told them about the noise issues.

Excellent City Stay

helpful manager clean hotel efficient staff lovely lady
Sophia, a trainee manager, and she attended to every need. Kym at breakfast was so happy and efficient, a lovely lady. The hotel maintained a very clean , and beautifully decorated environment. I will definitely consider the hotel group again in the future.
The towel rack in the bathroom wasn't heated well enough , it felt a bit cold.
