refurbished spa relaxing massage daily cleaning river view
The spa was a highlight. It felt newly refurbished and very relaxing. I especially enjoyed the back massage. My room, a Standard King Room Non-Smoking, was cleaned daily and had water included. The location was superb. I found the menu offered great views and delicious food (the steak pie was a hit!).

The hotel reception staff was lovely and check-in was quick. Staff were attentive and ensured all our needs were met with a friendly, professional manner. The nightshift team was accommodating and responsive to guest needs.

the rooms were clean with good coffee. the views of the grounds were beautiful. the spa had an outdoor hot tub and i enjoyed it!!!
The gym hours are restricted for hotel guests. I had to pay an additional fee to access the spa.

the food was excellent. the staff were very friendly and helpful. it was an all round excellent experience for me.

stale smoke bathroom floor
the restaurant food was quite good.
The room i was given was not clean to an acceptable standard. there was hair on the bathroom floor and stains on the carpet. It was quite off-putting. the television remote did not work, and i had to call for assistance, which took over an hour. the corridors smelled strongly of stale smoke, unpleasant.

The room had mirrors placed well and was spacious. I also appreciate the clean, nice bathroom. The food in the restaurant was top notch. It was well presented and tasty.
