old wardrobe folding door
the breakfast had a great choice, and dietary requirements were accommodated.
the room really needed upgrading. old wardrobes and bedside cabinets were in there, and the bathroom door was a folding door, less than ideal. this was especially true when someone was showering because the noise was horrendous.

convenient access relaxing atmosphere helpful host
the location offered convenient access to local attractions! i found the gardens were well-kept. breakfast included good gluten free bread. the host was helpful and offered useful local knowledge, i really appreciated it.
the room decor seemed a bit dated. the furniture did look tired.

the host offered attentive service, including a ride to a pub. breakfast service was attentive, including gluten-free options. fresh towels were provided when we needed them. these gestures were appreciated.

central location hot water limited breakfast dirty room
I appreciated the central location close to the ferry terminal. Hot water and a bath were available after my journey.
Only the black pudding and haggis seemed available. I thought the room was very dirty with cobwebs and dust.
