small room no chairs
The location was ideal. We had an organised tour of Balmoral. Dining opportunities in nearby Ballater were excellent.
The room was small and did not have any chairs. I could only sit on the bed when the weather was bad. I could not even look out of the window!!!

mixed feelings about my stay
limited breakfast selection small bathroom
the location was acceptable, offering convenient access to nearby attractions.
The room lacked sufficient soundproofing. I could clearly hear conversations and noise from adjacent rooms. the breakfast selection was limited. the bathroom was quite small.

cute hosts excellent breakfast good location
the hosts were very cute. i had excellent breakfast each morning. the location was good for seeing local sights such as balmoral castle.
the room had no chairs, so sitting was limited to the bed

tranquil setting helpful hosts
The setting felt very tranquil. breakfast was great. I enjoyed the choices on offer! the hosts were also caring and helpful.
The wi-fi signal wasn't strong in all areas. Hopefully they fix it soon, i'm sure they will.

The staff were very attentive. check-in was quick, and staff helped with local directions, and they seemed genuinely happy to assist. The service was excellent!

My room had a comfy bed. the linens felt fresh, and the mountain view was lovely. The room included blackout curtains, and the windows opened easily.

The breakfast offered a nice range of options. fresh fruit, cereals, and cooked breakfast items were available. the coffee was hot. I saw gluten-free bread too.

parking was easy, right at the hotel. the gardens looked well kept, and there were outdoor seating areas. i spotted a small guest lounge with books.
