friendly staff amazing food flavorful haggis
The staff were so friendly and knowledgeable about local attractions! the food was amazing, especially the breakfast with a great menu selection. i really recommend the haggis. It was fantastic and flavorful.

comfortable room friendly staff excellent recommendation sound sleep
my room, a double room, was very comfortable. i slept soundly each of my two nights. the staff were genuinely friendly. they provided excellent recommendations for local sights.
the bathroom grout showed very slight staining, though everything was clean.

mixed feelings about my stay

tiny bathroom pub noise
the room was a bit of a letdown. the bathroom was tiny and lacked basic toiletries, specifically shampoo. also, the noise from the pub downstairs went on until 1 am. it made it hard to sleep.

the staff were friendly and helpful. the breakfast at the nearby golf club was superb. the village location added to the pleasant experience. i appreciated the big comfortable bed in my room. it was a double room and had a smart tv.
