fantastic caravan stay!
gated compound safe area tesco supermarket convenient location
The gated compound has a great location. the area around it is safe for families. i found falls only a short 20-minute drive away! i drove to a tesco supermarket at lockerbie which took about 19 minutes. It was super convenient.
the opening hours of the shop situated in the reception were limited, it was inconvenient

the cooking facility had an oven, grill, toaster, microwave, fridge and freezer which were all great! the on-site café offered a nice coffee and the bar area had a great female singer on saturday night.

The accommodation is warm, nice, and clean. It allows you to explore around or meet others in the bar. i found a lovely little town nearby with good shops and places to eat or drink, even just a short walk away!

the play park on site is good, if a little basic. a huge local park is less than a 2 to 3 minute walk from the entry to the site! i found a beautiful loch on site where i walked around in about 15 minutes.

The staff were really friendly and couldn't do enough for us. I even loved the doggy gift box. the caravan was wonderful, and the little cloths with washing up liquid made a difference. It was the little things!

a DECENT stay
spacious caravan lake view clean facilities tavern closure expensive food dog toileting
the caravan was spacious. VIEWS of the fields and lake were amazing. EVERYTHING was clean throughout.
the tavern WASN'T open some evenings. THE FOOD offering seemed limited and expensive. MANY people walked between caravans letting dogs toilet on the grass.

The grounds were beautiful with amazing views. The staff were friendly.
The on-site tavern was not open Tuesday and Wednesday evenings. It also had expensive food , with limited options. I definitely felt disappointed.

wonderful caravan experience
cooking equipment provided towels great location
i found the caravan fully equipped with cooking equipment plus towels. bed linen was also provided for a comfortable stay. the hotel is in a great location. activities kept us busy, especially for the kids so i will definitely come back.
i noticed the children's playground was undergoing a refurbishment . it was not open so children couldn't play. this was a slight disappointment because children needed to be entertained.

the mobile home was spacious and clean plus it had most things needed. i advise bringing more toilet roll for longer stays. beds were comfortable and warm. everything was pleasant overall.

the surrounding grounds are beautiful with fine views. nature and calm surroundings were great to see. superb walks for dogs were available so i could take my dog for walks.

A reasonable stay
clean caravan excellent heating playground refurb limited hours
I found the caravan spacious and clean. It has all mod cons. The central heating worked excellent, so the caravan was very cosy and the shower had great hot water.
The children's playground was not open when I visited, they were doing a refurb. The shop on site had hours, where it closed earlier than anticipated. This did affect our enjoyment of the holiday.
