a solo traveller's perspective
small refrigerator extra blanket convenient location
My room was on the smaller side, a small single room, but it suited my needs for a short stay. It had essentials, including a small refrigerator. i liked that there was an extra blanket. I tend to get cold easily. the hotel's proximity to the town centre was convenient. I enjoyed the short walk for meals.
The small single room i booked had very little space, and with luggage, it felt cramped.

The small single room included tea and coffee facilities. This was useful for early mornings. the private bathroom had a functional shower. Soap and shampoo were provided. towels were clean, though a bit thin.

The guesthouse is situated on a quiet street, very close to the town centre, this made exploring easy. access to the train station was simple and quick. It was only a short walk away. there were several restaurants within a few minutes walking distance.

Self check-in was smooth, useful, and easy to manage. I had no issues accessing the hotel. communication with the host was prompt and helpful. They provided clear instructions. free wi-fi was available. I was able to check emails.

adequate , but with a few snags
small room weak shower
the room i got , supposedly a "double room private bathroom", was anything but spacious , more like a broom closet with a bed. heating seemed to be on a timer i wasn't privy to , and i seemed like a glacier most of the time. also , the shower pressure resembled a gentle rainfall , not exactly invigorating after a long day of pretending to enjoy the highlands.
