a mixed experience
cold vegetables pricey drinks
i found the restaurant service lacking one evening. clearing plates took an hour. nobody asked if our meal was alright, otherwise i would have mentioned the cold vegetables, mash, and gravy. drinks were expensive, and they even ran out of cider, it's just disappointing.

quiet highlands escape
friendly staff excellent chef superb location
i found the staff to be friendly. the breakfast was really nice with an excellent chef. i also liked that the location is superb for exploring the area.
my room felt a little unloved.
