excellent stay, friendly faces

kind team spacious room great view comfortable space
the staff was thoughtful and kind, smiles were everywhere i looked. our room was spacious and comfy, and the view of the river was great. the bathroom had everything i needed and everything work fine. the hotel itself is large and i saw only a few areas needing some attention.
i noticed a few neglected corners around the hotel, though it didn't really bother me.

breakfast offered hot dishes like eggs benedict and a scottish breakfast. a buffet had yogurt, muesli, fresh fruit, and juices available and it really helped start the day right.

nice decoration good equipment good breakfast
I had a very good stay. the rooms have a nice decoration and good equipment. the bar and restaurant were very good. breakfast was also very good. I enjoyed a cooked breakfast with smaller options.
the noise from the road was a bit much in my room.

The hotel sits on the edge of town. it is a lovely location near the tweed. the grounds are very nice. It's a charming hotel with character, though the road can be noisy.

friendly staff scottish breakfast comfortable rooms
The breakfast included a full Scottish, complete with haggis. The staff were very kind. Shona and Lena. The hotel itself is large and comfortable. (It really feels like home!)
The public spaces were a little worn. (But nothing major, honestly.)

the breakfast WAS excellent. i found the staff helpful and friendly. the restaurant food was lovely, and the breakfast amazing too.
the public spaces looked a little tired and needed some tlc.
