The room felt cramped. There was too much furniture in there. plus, i noticed some dust (it's always something, isn't it?). the bed was also smaller than i expected. a bottle of water instead of irn bru would have been a nice touch.

i found the premier double room spacious enough for us and our dog. the ensuite bathroom had good dimensions, it is true that i prefer a walk-in shower to the over-bath setup. the same fantastic menu could be enjoyed in the bar as in the restaurant, so the dog joined us for dinner.. a definite plus! wine was reasonably priced.
