i had a warm welcome. the owner gave me a map with helpful tips. the breakfast each morning was delicious!!!
the room was not cleaned well, i asked for a vacuum. the floor was dirty. there was dust and limescale.

excellent host regular bus
Kevin was an excellent host! he served us a good coffee while our room was being cleaned on our early arrival so we could check in and freshen up! the hotel is near the bus stop. Regular busses will bring you to city central in about 10 minutes.
the cooked breakfast portions were slightly small.

A ROMANTIC getaway

warm welcome homemade breakfast
kevin and susan welcomed me SO warmly. the hotel features a quiet spot near holyrood park AND a bus stop. i enjoyed a lovely homemade breakfast , and the rooms OFFERED tea and coffee.
i NOTICED the absence of a car park. this posed a slight inconvenience. luckily, on-street parking was AVAILABLE FOR free DURING the weekend.

the breakfast featured fresh choices , including scottish classics such as tasty sausages , eggs , and beans. a bar provided coffee , tea , milk , fruits , and pastries , catering to varied preferences. the breakfast AREA was nicely decorated.

the hotel IS located in a typical scottish neighborhood with well-kept houses and gardens , visible from the windows. common TRANSPORT links were NEARBY , facilitating easy travel to the city center or the railway station. the hotel provided maps for easy navigation THROUGHOUT the city.
