a good castle experience!

excellent breakfast wonderful tour
The breakfast was excellent. It offered a great start to my days here. the staff was friendly and helpful. Laura at reception arranged a wonderful hotel tour. the tour guide rodney provided the most amazing in-depth guide about the davidsons family!
The room needed a small upgrade. The water pressure in the shower was less than perfect, though the bathroom itself was lovely.

late tour lovely grounds comfortable accommodations
i enjoyed the late night ghost tour and the grounds looked so lovely. the room provided comfortable accommodations and extra heaters were available in the closet. breakfast was also very good with excellent service, which i really appreciated.

wonderful castle stay

nice dinner good service wine bottle
the dinner and breakfast were really nice. the service was very good. upon arrival, i learned our main bathroom light was not working. they gave us a bottle of wine as a courtesy, which i thought was very thoughtful.
i noticed one minor issue . the bedroom felt cold despite the heater that was available. perhaps an upgrade to the heating system could improve the comfort level in the future.

great facade great beds private parking
i found the castle had a great facade. the beds were great. the staff were very helpful, i noticed. private parking was available, which i used. i also put my bikes in a safe spot.
i observed the hotel need a bit of care. i felt it was dirty in places. it seems a real shame because this building deserves to be looked after.

The room was large. A SEPARATE bathroom was well appointed. Gardens surrounding the building were quite rural.
chipped cups were in the room. i took them down for replacement.
