A Stay with Some Minor Issues
spacious room attentive staff prompt breakfast noisy dining room missing carpet unmade bed
The room was lovely and spacious. I enjoyed the view. The staff was very attentive. The breakfast was served promptly, I appreciated that.
The dining room got noisy. There was no carpet in the room. I found no curtains to help with the noise. The bed was not made after the first night.

Lochside Views and Cute Staff
lochside views cute staff delicious food
The location was special. It is right on the edge of the loch. I enjoyed wonderful views all day. The staff were cute and very friendly. The food in the restaurant was delicious. The lounge with a fire was welcome after a long drive.
I noticed some lack of attention to detail. For example, the entrance had not been swept. There were cigarette butts in empty planters! there was little information about things to do in the area. The hotel lacked a manager with attention to detail.
Dining
9/10
The restaurant featured a selection of dishes using local ingredients. The breakfast buffet had fresh pastries, fruits, and hot options like eggs and bacon. I savoured a three-course dinner. The dining room offered loch views.
Location
9/10
The hotel overlooks the loch and mountains. There are garden opposite. Short walk leads to the water's edge. The grounds offer seating for enjoying the scenery. The immediate area is peaceful and scenic.
Facilities
8/10
The lounge provided a comfortable area for relaxation and socializing. The cozy lounge had a fireplace. It added warmth. There are lovely grounds with seating.
Service

Katie provided a warm welcome. The room had a beautiful sea view. I appreciated the really good quiet. The room felt lovely and warm.
Finding someone upon arrival proved difficult and the lounge felt a bit chilly.
Facilities

The whisky selection available is excellent. Well trained staff can assist with selections (a real plus!). Guests can easily stroll through the sea garden directly to the loch shore. This offers a serene experience.
Location
10/10
The location provides access to lovely walks and views. It is a great spot for relaxation. Lismore is nearby. A short ferry trip allows for exploring the island. It provides opportunities for scenic walks.
