Good Rural Stay

convenient parking spacious room excellent shower comfortable bed
I found parking very convenient directly outside the room. The room itself provided ample space and maintained great cleanliness. The bathroom was also spacious, boasting an excellent shower. The bed offered really good comfort, ensuring a restful night.
I noticed very slight wear and tear around the car park area, but it did not impact my experience.
Location
9/10
The hotel is situated on the outskirts, in a peaceful rural setting, perfect for tranquility. It's a good location for exploring the southern part of Scotland. I found a very relaxed atmosphere throughout the hotel.

pleasant one night stay

separate room friendly staff fresh produce
the room was separate from the main inn building at the rear. staff were friendly and helpful at all times. breakfast included fresh cooked produce and offered plenty of choice. i found private parking at the back of the pub just in front of the rooms.
the room door had gaps around its frame so the insulation wasn't optimal. this meant the room got quite cold on a particularly cold day. a better fitting door would improve this.
Facilities
9/10
the hotel features private parking located behind the main building. there is also a pub restaurant serving evening meals and breakfast. a conservatory room is available enjoying their breakfast service.
