constant door loud voices
the staff were helpful
the room was right next to the bar constant door slamming and loud voices were problematic the door never locked from the inside sometimes it opened on its own i asked to move rooms but none were available

clean kitchen netflix account
The shared kitchen was clean and had everything i needed. my room had a tv. I could even log into my own netflix account. the shared bathroom was also very clean, i appreciated that.
There was almost no storage in the family room. i noticed just a few shelves and a bedside cabinet. That's all.

The hotel is near a bus stop. this bus stop can take you directly to st andrews, a convenient option for exploring the area. there is also a convenience store down the street for supplies. I found it walkable.

i found the staff to be helpful and friendly throughout my stay the bed offered great comfort and i slept well the location was quite convenient with easy access to nearby transportation options the available kitchen and fridge were useful amenities i appreciated
the window in my room did not fully close so there was some noticeable road noise

the room was spacious with ample storage space. i appreciated the clean bathroom and the friendly staff. bus stops are conveniently located nearby for easy access to st andrews and dundee with frequent service every 10 minutes
the emergency light in the room remained on throughout the night. this made it difficult to achieve complete darkness for sleeping. i found this quite bothersome

Balanced stay near the road

helpful advice great welcome street noise wet bathroom
The staff gave us a great welcome. They gave very helpful advice for the surrounding area. The location is fantastic if you are interested in the golf at St Andrews (it's a 10-minute drive).
The window in our room did not close properly. This let in too much noise from the street. The shared bathroom became very wet with use (though it was clean to start the day).
