the room had a practical desk. it included ample lighting for work. there was on-site parking available.. i found it convenient. the shared living room offered a space to relax away from the bedroom. a nearby stream provided a nice walking path.
the room size proved somewhat limited for extended stays.

The room was clean. The guesthouse provided parking onsite, a very convenient feature. I appreciated that there was easy access to nearby attractions. The surrounding area felt safe for walking and exploring.

Check-in was seamless with clear instructions. Communication was good, as the hostess, sarah, was easy to reach and responsive to any queries. I received all necessary information promptly. The staff were generally very friendly.

clean room free parking clear instructions hot shower
The room was clean, and there was free parking available on the hotel. The accommodation provides clear instructions. I appreciate that. hot water was readily available in the shower. there was also a mini automatic mower in the garden. I found it neat.
the walls were a little thin, and i could hear other guests sometimes.

the host responded quickly when i had difficulty finding the building. instructions were provided before arrival which i think is wonderful. sarah was an really good host. i am very grateful

the location is very convenient, near a co-op market that is a 5 minute walk. urquhart castle is a 30 minute walk, a reasonable distance. the hotel location provides easy access to nearby restaurants.

a communal lounge is available for all guests to use. it includes a microwave, refrigerator, toaster, and sufficient dishware. tea and coffee are available with glasses, perfect to make a cup. a nice garden is on the hotel with chairs.

weak shower depleted batteries
I found several issues that detracted from my stay. The shower pressure was quite weak. I struggled to get a decent wash. There was no elevator. This made moving luggage to the upper floors difficult and inconvenient. The television remote in my room had depleted batteries. I could not watch TV until I replaced them myself with spares I had with me.
