double bed wide selection hotel gardens slow restaurant fire door no coffee
the room was comfortable, it included a double bed and a tv. the breakfast offered a wide selection of foods. the hotel gardens were well kept and easy to explore.
the restaurant service was slow, i waited long for my order to be taken. the fire door to my room required several attempts to open, i found it concerning. i was disappoint i was not offered any coffee or desert after lunch.

Excellent Hotel Stay
spacious room amazing food
The room was spacious, it included excellent facilities. The staff were great. They addressed every need. Food at the restaurant was amazing. I especially recommend the beef Wellington. I found much to see and do within a very short walking distance.

The hotel has well cared for grounds and also many up to date features. A stay here provides access to several historic attractions and they are only a few minutes walk away from the front doors.

I encountered polite dining staff. They delivered dinner in a relaxed manner. I also found the bar staff helpful. They knew the drink menu well. I had no complaints about the service .

fine view prompt staff really good food
The room faced the bridge, a fine view. Staff ensured our needs were met promptly. Food was really good . I look forward to my next visit here.
The key card occasionally failed to open the fire door.

tasteful design garden view common area ordinary food tscky refurb unopened mussels
the newer rooms have a tasteful design. they also provide gorgeous views of the garden and the stream. the common areas provide a niche vibe for different sizes of groups. the grounds were amazing!!!
i recently visited the tales restaurant for lunch. the refurb looked slightly tscky. the food was very ordinary. my mussels to start, almost half of them had not opened, i mentioned this to the server but nothing more happened.
