CARDHU COUNTRY HOUSE, Aberlour

Cardhu Country House is a 3-star bed and breakfast set in an 1868 former manse with a walled garden and views of local hills, mountains, and rolling countryside. The hotel has six en-suite guest rooms, a guest lounge, a dining room, and gardens. A tennis court with tennis equipment and an outdoor fireplace are part of the grounds.

Rooms are named Aberlour, Cragganmore, Glenlivet, Knockando, Macallan, and Tamdhu; Knockando and Glenlivet rooms can be set up as super king or twin. Aberlour and Macallan rooms are king-size rooms, and Cragganmore and Tamdhu rooms also offer super king or twin configurations. Daily housekeeping, key access, and private check-in/check-out are provided.

Cardhu Country House sits on the Malt Whisky Trail in Speyside, close to Aberlour and within a mile of the River Spey, which is famous for its salmon fishing. The Speyside Way, a long-distance walking and cycling route linking the Cairngorms to the Moray Coast, is a short walk away. More than half of Scotland's malt whisky distilleries are in the surrounding area, and Cardhu distillery is within walking distance of the hotel.

Breakfast is served in the dining room and includes cooked-to-order dishes such as whisky porridge, full Scottish breakfast, and scrambled eggs with smoked salmon. Dinner platters and packed lunches are made with local ingredients, and special diet menus are available on request. Guests can bring their own drinks in the evening, and the hotel provides glassware and ice.

Board games and puzzles are available in the shared lounge/TV area, and the garden has outdoor furniture and a designated smoking area. Safety equipment includes CCTV outside the property, fire extinguishers, smoke alarms, and key access.
