the lack of dining options was a real letdown. i found out the restaurant was closed for both lunch and dinner (surprise!). this meant i had to drive quite a distance to find a place to eat, and honestly, half the places were closed anyway. it felt a bit inconvenient (and i was hungry).

The bed was terrible. It was like a trampoline. I woke up with a bad back and did not sleep well. I had to sleep on the sofa.

clean chalet additional balcony comfy stay single-glazing windows extra cost breakfast high charge
The chalet was clean (a big plus for me). A nice additional balcony was available. It. The location of the hotel overlooks the Loch. Therefore, it has views across the lake.
The windows are single-glazing. Strong wind is noisy. The continental breakfast was extra cost. It was at the top end of the cost spectrum. The hotel charged 48 pounds for toast and cereal.
