The staff showed constant courtesy. They were very friendly. breakfast was good. dinner at the orangery impressed with its quality. the neighborhood presented beautiful views, with convenient access to local attractions like the golf course, the castle, and the town center. i enjoyed the ease of walking to everything.
The overhead shower was not practical. i appreciate it's an old building, but the taps needed a lot of force. Regulating the shower temperature proved difficult. i found it disappointing because the claw foot bath and overhead shower influenced my decision to book the hotel.

decent stay, but shower issues

stiff taps temperature nightmare
the bed was comfy and i slept well.
the overhead shower did not work. the taps were too stiff, and it was hard to regulate the water temperature. this was disappointing because i specifically booked this hotel because of the claw foot bath and shower.

The staff was very friendly and efficient. Breakfast included delicious salmon and scrambled eggs. My room had a great view. It was in very good order. I would stay there again if I return.
The plumbing made regulating the shower temperature difficult, as taps were quite stiff.
