The staff was kind and helpful. I appreciated that my standard double room was clean and warm. I enjoyed the varied menu in the restaurant. The food was good.
My room was located between two fire doors. THIS made it noisy at night. I also noticed there were no water or glasses in the room. Apply, twice.

Reasonable Stay

good pub food continental breakfast noisy extractor fan creaky doors
I appreciated the good pub food. The self service continental breakfast was also a very good idea. I also found the pub to be well-populated with a great choice of beers. Chinese and Indian restaurants were also nearby.
The room was small. The toilet was loud when flushed. The extractor fan in the bathroom was too noisy, I hardly slept. The doors needed oiling, because they were very heavy and creaky.
